All our livestock is raised slowly, not fed routine antibiotics or growth promoters and is reared totally free range in a non-intensive environment – and all this shows in the flavour. It’s more expensive to produce things this way, but it’s worth it!
We purposely only raise a small number of any species so, unlike huge commercial flocks or herds, we can truly say that we really know our animals.
Lamb...
Our lambs are Wiltshire Horn sheep, a rare UK breed that is woolless (it moults each year so doesn’t need to be shorn) and renowned for its meat quality and flavour.
Pork...
Pork and sausages from our Saddleback and Berkshire pigs. Berkshires are an endangered breed with only 600 registered breeding sows in the UK – so the more we eat the greater the chance this delicious breed will survive.
Beef...
Beef from our Dexter cattle will be available within the next year.
