Two Cocks Brewery

We’re very pleased to announce that our micro-brewery, Two Cocks Brewery is now up and running with our beers starting to appear in local pubs. Our brews use water drawn from own borehole, sunk deep into the West Berkshire chalk, and derive a unique flavour note from the addition of wild hops found in the hedgerows of the farm.

We have 3 beers in our range: 1643 Roundhead (a Best Bitter), 1643 Cavalier (a Golden Ale) and 1643 Puritan (a Stout) – the naming theme linking back to the Battle of Newbury, which our farm played a role in (it was the site of the Roundheads encampment the night before the battle).
