All our livestock is raised slowly, not fed routine antibiotics or growth promoters and is reared totally free range in a non-intensive environment – and all this shows in the flavour. It’s more expensive to produce things this way, but it’s worth it!
We purposely only raise a small number of any species so, unlike huge commercial flocks or herds, we can truly say that we really know our animals.
Chickens...
Our table birds are Sasso, a big, meaty breed of free range chicken that originated in France.
Turkeys...
During the day our Kelly Bronzes and Norfolk Blacks roam freely over our fields, as nature intended. At night, they make their way into the barn to sleep.
Our geese are free to frolic on the pond which makes them very happy indeed.
